Campus

The campus is spread over an area of 5.75 acres. It is situated in a calm, peaceful and pollution-free environment best suited to academic pursuits located at Agampur, Shahabad Hardoi.

The campus is equipped with modern labs, class rooms, seminar hall, library, student centre for co-curricular activities, computer lab, academic and administrative blocks and other amenities for exclusive and widespread provision for indoor and outdoor games.

All the classrooms are spaciously designed and are well furnished with necessary technical teaching aids like OHP, Slide projectors, LCD Projector, Laptop and power supply.
The Institute possesses a Seminar-Hall with seating capacity of 200 people. The Hall plays host to guest lectures, seminars and various presentations.

The college library has a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include :-

  • Books Including for particular topics or subiects as well as Reference books like dictionaries, encyclopedias, e-books etc.
  • National and International Journals & Magazines.
  • Database and Audiovisual material.
Keeping in view the increased emphasis on technology, the A.B. Singh College of Pharmacy has developed computer lab with broad-band connection. The lab is equipped with sufficient number of computers with the latest configuration and softwares. In addition, we also have our own Internet facility through local ISP. Wi-Fi facility is also available.
A centrally located indoor stadium is being developed to provide facilities for all indoor games such as table tennis, badminton, carom and chess. The campus has also been facilitated with a widespread outdoo: area for cricket, volleyball and football.
The College also possesses a neat and clean canteen in which all types of food is being served.
The College possesses a museum exhibiting more than 100 crude drugs, herbarium sheets, botanical specimens & charts of drugs & plants, colored slides of medicinal plants patent medicines and containers of common usage in medicines.

The main obiective of Pharmacology is to investigate the fundamental aspects of molecular bio-regulatory machanism of the cell and understand how drug act in order to devlop new drugs for treatment of diseases.

This Lab has equipment to investigate the activity of various drug samples such as Digital Balance, Rota Rod, Electro-Convulsiometer, Plethysmograph, Analgesiometer, Histamine Chamber and Actophotometer.

This Lab is established to understand the Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of diseased state with the help of Charts, Models, Microscope including human skeleton, and various types of appratus

“Pharmacognosy is the science that deals with medicine derived from natural sources* The Pharmacognosy lab is equipped with Projection Microscope, Soxhelt appratus, Clevenger’s appratus, Stage micrometer and oculometers, Hot air oven together with many crude drugs charts and models.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry lab is established for the analysis of drugs and pharmaceutical Chemicals forms the backbone of research and development in Pharmaceutical Industry.

This Lab is equipped with various Chemicals, Pippet, Buret, Flasks, Funnels, Refrectometer, Polarimeter, Photoelectric Colorimeter, PH- Meter, Electronic Balance, Periodic table chart.

Pharmacy Practice lab is equipped with modern tools like Colorimeter, Microscope, Centrifuge, Biochemical reagents, Filtration equipment, Autoclave, Vacuum pump, Incubator, PH- Meter.

This lab is concered with the strategies by which biologically active compounds are presented to the body so as to elicit an optimal response. This lab is equipped with Ball mill, Continuous hot extraction equipment, Conical Percolator, Pfizer type hardness tester. Tablet disintigration test opparatus IP,

Tablet dissolution test apparatus IP, Ampoule washing machine, Distillation Unit.

The machine room is well equipped with latest machines generally encountered in Pharmaceutical Industry like Coating Pan, Hand Operated Single Punch Machine, Dissolution Rate Test Apparatus, Disintegration, Test Apparatus, Refrigerated Centrifuge, Deep Freezer, Mechanical and Sieve Shaker, Filter Press, Venturimeter and Orifice Meter, Friability Test Apparatus, Granules Drier, Capsule Filling Machine and Mechanical Stirrer.
